Dean's Global Impact Award

The Dean’s Global Impact Award recognizes extraordinary Spartans for singular actions that have a direct and remarkably positive impact on members of MSU's global community. The award is presented at the discretion of the vice provost and dean for International Studies and Programs and is not necessarily given every year.

The Dean's Global Impact Award was introduced in 2022 to recognize MSU staff who played a critical role in the evacuation of MSU-affiliated scholars and families from Afghanistan as the Taliban took control in August 2021.
